Travel Agent

Aaran Travel is seeking an experienced, full time travel agent for the support of clientele.

 

Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Maintains and promotes professional and courteous client relations by managing a prompt and accurate response to inquiries via online submissions and travel consultants.
  • Organize travels from beginning to end, through booking tickets and accommodation, securing rental transportation etc.
  • Monitors and works GDS queues daily to maintain quality control.
  • Create and update traveler profile information.
  • Properly uses industry terminology, codes, fare basis, airline rules and tariffs, resource guides and industry contacts.

  • Assumes and performs other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein, as required. 

Skills Required: 

  • Knowledge of domestic/international reservations and faring.
  • Excellent communication skills – telephone and email.
  • Able to work independently, exercising discretion and judgment.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities, with an emphasis on detail.
  • Proven pursuit of learning and self-development.
  • Organizational skills that result in high productivity

Qualifications:

  • International traveling experience

  • Thorough knowledge of the travel industry and suppliers.

  • Proficiency with Sabre GDS necessary.

  • Applicants should be familiar with MS Office, Outlook and Excel, including Google and Internet Explorer.

Travel Consultant

Aaran Travel is seeking a Travel Consultant with great enthusiasm for traveling. You will be responsible for promoting and booking traveling arrangements for clients (individuals or businesses). The goal is to enhance satisfaction and acquire an expanding and dedicated clientele.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Involved in planning, development, promotion, administration and implementation of Umrah pilgrimage.
  • Required to travel to Umrah tour sites, check them out and experience the services first hand before assessing their tourism potential.
  • Lead tour guide for Umrah pilgrimage
  • Provide general knowledge of attractions and destinations

Skills Required:

  • Management and tourism experience

  • Leadership and team-building skills

  • Financial management skills 

  • Good communication and excellent customer service skills 

  • Great knowledge of Islam, Sunnah, Mecca and Medina, and religious attractions are important, as are research skills.

  • Risk management skills and time management skills.

  • Required language mastery: English and Arabic

Umrah Tour Manager

Aaran Travel is seeking an experienced full time Umrah expert to oversee the operation of Umrah pilgrimage.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Research various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews etc.
  • Create travel packages based on research
  • Diagnose the clients’ specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages or services
  • Supply travelers with pertinent information and useful travel/holiday material (guides, maps, event programs etc)
  • Collect deposits and balances
  • Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages
  • Handle unforeseen problems and complaints and determine eligibility for money returns
  • Create and update electronic records of clients
  • Maintain relationships with key persons
  • Keep financial statements and documents

Skills Required:

  • Proven working experience as a Travel Consultant
  • Excellent knowledge of traveling software (computer reservations systems and Sabre)
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage (Arabic, French, Spanish)
  • Exemplary sales skills and customer oriented approach
  • Well versed in various areas of travel (domestic/international, business/holiday, group/individual,  etc)
  • Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively
  • Demonstrable ability to handle crises
  • Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field
  • Candidates with personal travel experience will be preferred
